Civilization V Creation Tool

Any Civilization needs a strong willed Leader to lead them into prosperity. In terms of Civilization V, the Leader.xml page is used to configure and develop the artificial intelligence of your civilization, determining how the AI will generally respond to trade, development, and war. Before any of that though, lets start with your leader's reference name. This is so your Civilization will know what Leader is thiers. The format for leader reference names in Civilization V is; LEADER_MY_LEADER.

Now its time for art defines. These are set up by a separate XML file in order to organize the Leader Scene, and other elements. Wu Zeitan's Art Defines for example are located in Wu_Scene.xml.

As for their icon, the process is similar to all other xml files. Simply input the .dds file the icon is in and input its index.

Basic Attributes

Now lets sort out some general guidelines for the leader. Each one is fairly self explanatory, such as how loyal is a Leader after they made an agreement? How chatty are they? How much do they hate acts of warmongering? Each of these are on a simple scale, 1 to 10. The higher the value, the more inclined your leader is towards certain behaviors.
